Sept. 1991 (n° 36)

Christy Turlington by ?, on cover
* guess it's a reprint again ?

VARIOUS
ad campain and more ...
* i'll try to post some scans or snaps of the inside and art direction of the magazine. the first era of Fabien Baron at Vogue Paris (under Roitfeld) really looks like that. The "une fille, un style" and the male nudes came later. But current Vogue Paris is, imo, very inspired by the Glamour of the 90s.

DETAILS :
- Cacharel, by Sarah Moon (2 still live)
- Linda and Christy for Chanel (this collection is the first collection, in which Karl included denim, i believe).
- Sisheido
- A paper about Christian Sisley Restoin line of shirts : Equipement. Featured a picture of a young Julia, and a picture of "Sisley" himself younger.
* read more about the recent relaunch of this line of silk shirt, approved by Carine Roitfeld ;)
- Une fille, un style, ft. Marpessa
- Instante

does someone know what have become most of these stylists ??

joy de caumont has done stunning stories and the only thing that appears on google.fr is this thread ! where is she ? what has she done btw now and then ?
alexia silvagni is now, what seems to be, a photog' (like katja r)
mikael jansson and anne chabrol were, what seems to b, a couple. they had a child ? i've seen pics in glamour, but i'm not really sure.
I've noticed that Glamour really supported the belgians designers (mostly Véronique Leroy and Margiela - for which the team produced a show, in caves. but already said, non ?)

anyone ?

Frédéric Beigbeder was a journalist, in there. i'm thinking of compiling his pages.
his ex-wife (Diane de Mac Mahon) appears in Une fille, un style.
He's dealing with nights and parties ... ahah, i bet !
I've even spotted one text by Ariel Wizman.

There was also a great recurrent "subject" : a celebrity goes on vacation and pose and give his/her best of the city. there are very nice shots !!! Etienne Daho, Helmut Lang (Vienna), Véronique Leroy, Nathalie Simon (lol) etc.

Juergen Teller's been really landed as a portraitist, before becoming a regular photog' (i would say if you're tracking down some teller issue, try btw 1992-1994 for portraits, and 1994-1995 for bigger things).

Carine Roitfeld entered the magazine in 1992, same time than Mario Testino.
But I would like to say that Roitfeld did AMAZING stories with Marc Hispard, and most all the photog'. All her current aesthetic is to watch in these issues and series.
I would even say that a lot of stories bfore she came in, were, imo, a kind of inspiration for her.

Isabelle Peyrut is another french important stylist (she went to "GOOD-OLD" Jalouse, as Fashion Director, after the Glamour period). She has done a lot of fashion stories. Was an asst. in the first years.

Testino has done some stories, and I think 85% of Testino + Roitfeld stories have been seen. He has done stories with other stylists (while Roitfeld was doing GREAT stuff with Marc Hispard - he NEEDS a thread onto tFS). I'm not sure I like all stories from him, in there. I think some Roitfeld + Hispard stories could b confused with Testino.
By the way,
1993 October
Photographer:MARC HISPARD
Stylist:Carine Roitfeld
Model:Kate Moss

It's from a serie from the previous, with Kate, Shalom and Amber on cover. With the story by Mario Sorrenti (does someone has a link for this story. I'm not sure Michelle Hicks (?) parts were scanned).

I cannot get over the perfection of #69 and #70 and a lot of the images in this thread remind me of some of Antonioni's films, they have that same uncluttered black and white quality.

I googled her as well and I found out she opened a furniture boutique called "Escalier A" at Paris.:flower:

BTW,5 eds could be seen this page.Too lazy to post here because I'm too lazy to upload them to non-imagebam/venue site.:ninja:
