French Magazines

Those are my favorites too..
and there is always Crash and Citizen K , but I don't enjoy them as much (but that may be because I can't read french that much )

I like L'Officiel. (did I spell that correctly?)

Purple is fantastic. I also enjoy Jalouse a lot most of the time, and of course Vogue Paris.

BerlinRocks, does Crash have a lot of editorials? I took a peak at them (really fast) at my local bookstore and it seemed more like a pop culture magazine. Their covers are often great but I don't know about its content, so I've never bought one.

i think frecnh magazines are the very best! i can only read a little, but their editorials are so much better than things from the US or UK!

oh yeah for a "small" magazine they have about 5 or 7 editorials... but for you to know : their editorials is very often btw 8p. and 10p. I think I've never seen more...
they do some styling for the first pages, too (about music bands and young designer)...
it's a bimonthly so it's ok to buy it once in a while... for us/canada buyers, i think it's around 10$

since Masha Orlov (ex fashion editor in chief of Crash) left, Armelle Leturcq (founder of the magazine) is taking too much place, i think... but they have good stylists... who are doing a grood job, imo. but honestly, i prefer the MEN issue!
but you know they don't have many money (as a lot of "underground" magazines...) so it's hard, i think, for them.

I think Pedro and I have posted threads about Crash, maybe you could check...

Paris Vogue is without any doubt the best!
C Roitfeld, F Baron, E Alt, M-A Sauvé, A Barbieri, etc, produce the most fascinating and attractive European fashion magazine. Karl Templer just came a board, this couldn’t get more exciting!!!

Double and French revue de modes!!
double has some great issues even if the latest is really disappointing...
Is Above Mag ? sorry if I don't know it - I'm french - but it's really a hard-to-find mag...
Dealer de Luxe is great too ! Numéro is often excellent, Vogue has some good issues but imo not every month, L'Officiel seems to take a way I won't follow myself :innocent: latest Crash was disappoiting, ditto for latest Blast, previous one was so great... French revue de modes is great too...:flower:

L' Officiel at the moment, although I do agree it is getting a little bit more boring. I wish I could get Numéro from where I live. I once got two issues, and they were rather good.

i love numero magazine, but recently have had some difficulty finding it. can anyone tell me a place(s) to find it in new york city?

thank you!

Anyone here who buys stiletto magazine? Is it good?
yes it's quite good, but the issues' quality is a little unequal. Sometimes you have a very exciting one, sometimes I'm quite hesitating when it comes to buying it  I wish it was thicker as well, most of times but current issue is truly interesting and rich enough in eds to make me buy it !
I have a few scans here:

Agreed. There's so much creativity, art, process, thoughts, imagination, love that goes into each and every ed... and it shows! So can we please post some covers we love?
