Friends Returning to TV?

Sadly, I'm pretty certain it isn't true:

NBC Universal chief Jeff Zucker Monday said there is not one ounce of truth to widespread reports of a multimillion-dollar Friends reunion.

Published reports cropped up during the weekend reporting the six Friends stars had signed big money deals with NBC to revisit the sitcom for four one-hour episodes.

However, Zucker told Access Hollywood the reports had not one ounce of truth.

He also quashed a rumored Friends spinoff starring David Schwimmer, Matthew Perry and Matt LeBlanc.

Friends ended its 10-year run in May 2004 and remains popular in syndication.

I didn't think this was true. The Friends cast, in particular Jennifer Aniston, couldn't wait for he series to end, and now she is forming a successful credible Hollywood career, why would she want to ressurect a character she's been dying to escape from?

Oh well, I was hoping there may have been some truth in a Ross-Joey-Chandler spin off....

agreed. The show was set in NYC, one of the world's well known melting pots, and you never saw any minorities in the background? whatever.

I'm glad they're not coming back. I don't understand why everyone made such a bid deal about this show. Not funny at all.

Lisa Kudrow has confirmed that Friends was all set for a reunion show, but one male cast member refused a multi-million dollar salary to make a comeback appearance. While bosses at US TV network NBC furiously denied the claims, Kudrow has now confirmed proposals for forthcoming shows. She says:

"There is an opportunity for the rest of us to do a reunion show but one member has said no. It's one of the guys. I'm gutted."

I miss the friends tv show.

I always laughed at Fibi (sp?)! She was the funniest! Then Joey! I loved the way how Fibi ran...lol

I copied that with my friends at a park when I was in school and had a good laugh. Some other people moved away...I think I scared them with my Fibi run.
