Fruitarians?

sounds yummy, but I don't think I could live on friuts and nuts alone, I need some carbs and dairy.

Cramps by replacing junk food with fruit?! That is not cos the fruit is bad but because your body is in withdrawal from the junk you have been putting in it.

Fruit and nuts sound like a perfectly healthy existence but I LOVE my meat. The more rare the better. Hmm maybe fruit and nuts and a bit of meat would be ok

probably both! ^_^ but i can't imagine you'd ever get enough of everything you need from fruit and nuts, unless you took supplements of everything. personally i couldn't live without fish, especially salmon, mackerel and tuna. mmm.

It's really not very healthy at all.
I'm not really on a diet but I'm so lazy lately that all I eat for every meal is fruit. It doesn't make you feel good at all.

Why isnt it healthy? Early humans only ate fruit! There is nothing unhealthy about it

You need a mixture of different foods to be nutritious. Like balance fruit with some meat and vegetables.

I agree with what others have said; only fruits and nuts can not provide you with all the nutrients you need.

You need things like proteins, different kinds of carbs than only the ones found in fruits and so on. Nuts do contain quite a bit of protein, but not all the different strains we need.

You can get everything you need from a balanced vegetarian diet, but only fruits and nuts just isn't enough!

Anyone experementing with different "lifestyle" diets should read up on nutrition from all kinds of sources, and it's a very good idea to talk to a doctor/nutritionist if you aren't 1000% sure of what you're doing... :flower:
