I really don't understand why people spend time making these pictures, its just so weird to purposely make someone look impossibly thin. I hate photoshopped images as people believe them

I don't dispute this, I don't know if many cases of eating disorders reach this extent, but I see what you are saying. What I find aggravating about these images is that they are false, this model is thin, but not that thin and it unfair of people to do this as it is lying to people about the model and the modelling industry. It also demeans the diseases that would lead to looking like this, making them seem more trivial. As someone said, a person in this state would not be able to stroll down the catwalk.
