Coloured furs

A huge trend last season, dyed furs still have a place next fall and winter, in a wide range of tones, they take a back seat as natural tones set the loudest trend.

I feel like every fall people say fur is a trend.

Just like every spring people say bright colors are a trend.

I think with fur it kind of comes and goes as far as how big it is on the runway. I remember f/w 05 being very light on fur and then f/w 06 and 07 had a lot of it.

LOVE the Rick Owens, it looks unimaginably soft and beautiful, I wonder what type of fur it is, maybe something that's been sheared.

although i would never ever wear fur....i dont mind it if there are a few pieces in every collection...but too much is too much....Matthew Williamson and JPG def went over the top...it makes me sick

^loved the velvety Rick Owens'

I remember fall 2005, the biggest fur trend back then was astrakan, which is very similar to fabric, thats why it all looked very fur-free.

Rick pieces look like mink and probable some "plucked mink", which is a technique in wich all the guard hair (the shiny thorn like hair that protects the underwool) is removed, leaving a very soft velvety surface that feels like short haired chinchilla.

It's made a big comeback I think because of all the stars who embrace it now. It's figured into many wardrobes again...

I hate the fur at chloe. It looks like some weird fungus or mold.

One of my favourate pics I have seen in ages is this one (thanks J'Adoir)
