Game of Thrones

^Yeah, that little creep, Littlefinger (seriously HATE that sneaky little twit), he was talking about Catelyn Stark.
He's obsessed with her and therefore loathes Ned.

^thanks!
it was hard to concentrate on what he was saying with all the background moaning lol

Yes, littlefinger (in my opinion the most clever character in the serie by far) raised with Catelyn and her sister Lysa , he was in love with Catelyn since he was a child. But Catelyn's father got her engaged with Ned's brother, so littlefinger challenged him in a duel and lost. Catelyn beg for his life, so Ned's brother only hurt him and made him a scar in the chest.Later, Ned's brother died in the war and she got angaged again with Ned.

Thanks for the explanation of the schemes Littlefinger was explaining with detail during the brothel scene. I didn´t understand much of that...I guess my jaw dropping stopped my understanding. Quite explicit scene may I say...Well it´s not TV it´s HBO!

^LOL good ones.

only two episodes left :(
Sansa needs to redeeem herself soon, she´s such a contrast to her younger sister...

^^I was just thinking that watching last episode, koko!

Arya is so brave and clever. Sansa saw with her own eyes what a little bastard Jeoffrey is, and still she is still smitten with him. Bran also is clever and brave. Sansa is quite feeble and doesn´t seem to have deep convictions or beliefs, she just kind of goes with whatever they propose to her. Yes she definitely needs to do something to redeem herself.

Loved how Robb is so in command and being a man now that his father is in danger.

Lysa Tully (I´m not sure here, she´s Catelyn´s sister, right??) well, she definitely gives me the creeps, with that strange grown up kid by her side, always wanting to "feed" from his mum. Sooooooooooooooo creepy

^I was thinking about the actor playing Lysa´s son, that´s a disturbing character for a young boy to be playing

^^Yup. I always think about that whenever I see kids in movies or TV doing sex related stuff or scenes that could be disturbing for the violence. Even if they don´t realize now the meaning of whatever they´re doing, that work will stay in their resumes forever. I mean how can somebody choose that for their own kid? .... because it´s not really the kid´s choice at that young age.
I remember thinking the same thing about some scenes Sally Draper (the character from MadMen) had last season.

By the way.... I love how Tyrion Lannister is becoming more and more relevant

^ believe it or not , for what Lysa made to the child in that episode - spoiler showing her breast a woman in the United States was sentenced to very long jail sentence , well i guess if it is a movie then is not a crime , whatever.

regarding Sansa , despite she is older than Arya , she is much less mature than her , her naivity is very childish, she beleives that the faitytales she read on the books are real life and make her look kind of stupid, but i'm sure she is not.

in the other hand , why did Daenerys allow that "witch" to heal the man who had previously burned and killed her village and her fellow citizens ? what was she thinking about? I don't like Drogo but Daenerys has much left to learn yet, as much as Sansa

^^Yeah that was odd...I mean Danaerys saw with her own eyes how they tried to poison Drogo with the wine...
I guess they have to "move" the plot somehow...

^I thought the poisoned wine was meant for Danaerys...? as part of the plan to kill her by the bold guy under orders from the king...?

^^^Maybe you´re right....I guess because the wine seller insisted that she take the wine home with her...

yes, the wine was for Daenerys because the king offered a reward for her death.

^^I see....
Sometimes I miss some details and I understand a lot better after reading these posts! Thanks!

sorry if this has been asked before, but i don't want to read any comments in case of spoilers.
so i'm reading the book now and i wanna watch the show as soon as possible. is the show like true blood, where one season = one book or did they split the books? and when can i start watching the show (like half-way through it maybe?) or should i finish the first book first because they spoil some things in the show?

^ the tv show is based on the first book only, you will have to read the book first not to be spoiled because the plot is quite the same, except for some small differences and of course the cuts they've made to make the book fit into a TV show format.

But the book is so good that you will read it in a few days, so there's no problem ;)
