WE thought Kate Bosworth knew how to shop, but Gemma Ward wasted no time socking supplies in since arriving in Sydney.

The Aussie model, who has arrived in town after spending Christmas with her family in Perth, was spotted spending at kaftan princess Camilla Franks' Bondi Beach store on Saturday.

Confidential hears the star of impending flick The Black Balloon spent about an hour in the store and walked out with a poncho, a couple of shawls, a beaded shoulder wrap, a Natsumi calligraphy short kimono and an animal print kaftan from the sales rack.

But there was no sign of her rumoured new love Heath Ledger, with whom she was spotted out and about in their mutual home town over West at Christmas.

The actor has been shooting his latest film The Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus in London.

For me, it's those high bangs that would be the trickiest. I'm not sure that too many people can pull that kind of thing off, it could probably look pretty grotesque. But apparently Gemma's face can do no wrong.

She looked great at Hermes F/W 07.08. The natural look is probably most flattering to her, though as I mentioned above she can look nice in any sort of makeup.

I agree that natural suits her best I didn't always think her face took well to darker makeup (red lipstick for example) but as her face matured and changed somewhat since she first came on to the scene, I feel it does actually take to makeup better now
