i know this is so mean to say, but when i saw her new pictures, i just sort of thought to myself..what happened to her?

i think gemma is amazing, a very sweet person, and has gone through a lot with the heath ledger ordeal but she just looks sort of frazzled. those shorts are just...and why/how is she bowlegged now? :/ i feel so mean, but i'm just..shocked. i'm sorry...please dont hate me... :/ :/

I agree with you,i love her and she's always been my favorite, modeling or not.
but in my opinion she doesen't look good now and i don't think that because of the outfit *Edited for weight talk*.anyway i just hope that she's happy and that's enough for me.

I once got a comment just like this one deleted for weight talk, and I don't know why, because it was SUPPORTIVE and not CRITICAL of Gemma. I will repeat it as kindly as I can:


If people stopped criticizing her weight every time there's a candid of her, we'd get more candids. I sure as heck wouldn't want to put myself in the public eye if every time I did, people insulted my body!

I've never understood this whole "weight talk" rule. Especially in this instance, because a models weight is central to whether she's working or not. Change the word "weight" to "Cancer" or "Multiple Sclerosis" or "Paralysis" and the rule seems kind of silly.

"Oh, haven't you heard, it because she has [fill in the blank] and can't work.

At this point a moderator steps in and deletes or edits the post, for violating the "rules". So all that's left to talk about are frivolous things or the good old days when Gemma was on all of the runways and pages of magazines because she was still (fill in the blank). ***sheesh***
