well no weight talk obviously - but I can see both sides: in terms of modelling requirements, she's not fulfilling what the industry would like to see.

But of course, given that she's not currently modelling, and has taken an extended (if not permanent) break, she's perfectly entitled to look, do, whatever and however she likes.

I was so heartbroken when I read the article about her "quitting" few days ago, I mean...after seeing the candids, I kind of expected such announcement coming but it was still devasting
But thinking about it, even if she did quit modeling, we still have her previous amazing work to remember her by and nothing can take that away from us.
I spent all evening watching videos and interviews of her and that made me feel so much better.
All I want for her is to be happy and do whatever she wants to do at the moment...AS LONG AS SHE DOESNT DISAPPEAR AGAIN

Oh my god people, she isn't even a model at the moment and hasn't been in quite a long time! Personally I wouldn't be surprised if she never was a model again. People move on with their lives, I am assuming that modelling will get boring after a few years for everyone and I think the superficiality of the industry is too much over a long period of time. The girl is rich, she can take a few years out from doing anything and still be ok, wish I could say the same for myself but I am poor also I believe she has been doing a few things in Africa with charity which is far more meaningful than fashion as much as I hate to admit it.

though I must say, that in her last year as a model she lost her appeal to me, cause it looked like she wasn't enjoying her work any more...

As much as I'd love a comeback, I don't think Gemma has the passion for the job anymore... she's probably moved on and focussing on different opportunities, which is great!
