There was an article in todays West Australian newspaper about Gemma. They spoke to her mother & Gemma had also emailed them to confirm that she will be modelling and acting next year. She has been studying & is considering going to Yale. But it did quote her as saying she will be back modelling in the new year.

ETA: Her mum also mentioned that Gemma has been travelling & spending time in Brazil getting to know the real culture. She wanted to see what was behind all of the glitz apparently & is considering going back to do social work.

Oh God, I can't breathe! No way?! Our gorgeous Gemma is back with us?? :woot: :buzz: This is unbelievable!! Just when I gave up from her (shame on me) she comes with this heart stopping news!!! :wub: I just can't describe how excited and anxious I am. Gemma, I love you! :heart:
 
^ the article where Gemma emails the newspaper said she denied the rumors about quiting modeling, but she said herself that she will come back.
 
it would be very cruel of her to crush our hopes after promising a comeback -_-

so I think it's pretty reliable! :woot:
I can't wait :heart: I don't think it will be any time soon though but fingers crossed for something close to September at least :blush:

i think after the couple years she has had, she took a well deserved break, and it seems that she has a lot of ambitions other than modelling... but the fact that she e-mailed the newspaper gives me a lot of hope that 2010 will belong to Gemma Ward...finally she will be on top again!!!:buzz:

But guys, there's this news that came out (and it's actually here on tFS) saying that she quits modeling and does not intend to go back to the world where she became famous of.

Maybe she'll pop up in F/W 2010 shows on February next year. Or perhaps a VP/VI/VN or even a Numero cover or maybe an editorial (so many guesses my god! :lol: :D) 2010 = Gemma Ward!
