I think it's probably impossible for her to come back to runway already next season. I agree, she wasn't in her best shape lately, so if she does want to return she'll have to work hard. I think she'd rather skip F/W 10,11 and then came to S/S 11. I mean, only if she does return to fashion. Maybe she's not even planning it. Let's just wait.

It's not about her shape and whether or not she's physically able to participate in FW but I think she has closed the modelling chapter in her life (those statements that she's still ''a happy working model and enjoying it'' are to me untrue) and is no longer interested in it at all but wants to keep focusing on other possibilities in life.

Just because she has been absent from the scene doesn't mean she can't return or wont ever return. I'm not saying she "is" returning ,but you never know

She's on hiatus from modeling at current, at least that's the story we've got. There's pages and pages and pages of people saying so over and over again.

She definitely deserves to be listed, she changed the way we looked at models completely.

As to the is she/isn't she coming back... well, I think we should take what we've heard from her and her mother. She, and her mother, said she'd be modelling and acting next year. She's had her time to herself, if she didn't want to come back to it, she wouldn't. Simple as that.

Although that said, I wouldn't start getting excited about runway photos... most of the top girls stop doing runway after a certain point and stick to advertising and editorial. I think its more realistic to wait for something from one of these... Runway is ridiculously hard work on the girls and those who don't need to do it, and if we're talking about her when she's disappeared for so long, Gemma doesn't need to do it. So unless its a special booking, I doubt we'll be seeing much on that front

Look at the likes of Kate Moss, Daria Werbowy and Natalia Vodianova... they don't do runway often, but they do get campaigns and editorials now and then. If Gemma comes back in that capacity, I think we should all be grateful. Its not the same without her around
