I'm really pleased to see her back, she's looking as beautiful as ever and I'm looking forward to seeing her in the new Pirates film. I'm just a little sad at the talking about Heath thing. It's a shame that in order to relaunch herself, so to speak, that he is the centre of her publicity. I'm sure it's not her fault, she has no control over the headline and the quotes they highlight, but after such a lengthy time out the spotlight I would have hoped she would bypass the Heath thing as much as possible. I'm not having a go at her, it just seems a shame that as she's about to do her first big film role and her first stage role, all she is being made out to be the girl who dated Heath Ledger.

I don't think she has a real awareness of what the media can do.

It rubs me a bit the wrong way that she dated Heath for a month and Michelle Williams was with him much longer and has a child, and she's been very quiet and respectful about it. What must Heath's family be thinking - they're quite private too.

Come on Gemma has been in the spotlight for years and even took a break from it to reconsider things. She perfectly knows how the media circus works.
I also dislike when celebrities talk about their sentimental life but in that case as some members explained previously maybe she intended to talk about it once and never again.

She's certainly opened up a whole can of worms, and now everyone will be focusing on the relationship and what problems they each had when they met, rather than her acting and possibly modelling.

Perth supermodel-turned actress Gemma Ward was snapped taking a break from rehearsals at the State Theatre Company this morning.
Ward looked happy and relaxed as she chatted with colleagues outside the newly-opened venue, where she will make her stage debut in The Ugly One for Perth Theatre Company on March 22.
Although it is her first theatre performance, she is already a veteran of the silver screen, having acted in 2008 AFI award-winning film The Black Balloon and will also appear opposite heartthrob Johnny Depp in Pirates of the Caribbean 4: On Stranger Tides, when it opens in Perth in May.

Gemma grew up...she's not a 16 year old girl anymore. But there is one thing that hasn't changed about her, no matter how cliche it sounds...she is still beautiful as ever in my eyes.
