So the last few days shes overexposed bony and looks like Heather Marks.

Poor thing i think she should give it all up ;)

Or do i sense a bit of the Tall Poppy syndrome developing

Sorry to bring it a bit off topic, but what on earth is "tall poppy" syndrome?

Dont think thats posted before, I found it on google. It seems a bit older. Anyone care to translate the text? http://www.elle.co.jp/home/models/search/model.php?id=83 ? :flower:

^Perhaps she means that Gemma has a large head with a skinny and long body?? Some people also refer to that as being "bobble-headed" or looking like a lollipop as well. :p Though I agree Gemma is super thin, but she isn't that bad for a run way model. And not nearly as scrawny as her sister Sophie (Sophia??).

Or apparently, according to this page, TPS for short!

Anyway there is some good info there on the history of the expression...I've certainly never heard it used in America and it's kinda amazing that it ended up only being used in Australia (and they say NZ) considering it originates from ancient Rome! I like it though and might adopt it for use in my country, although here I am totally guilty of it! Can you blame me though!?:innocent:

Anyway it's hard to see that it could apply to Gemma, as she never seems to take herself too seriously or have much of an ego. That's why she rocks!

All the backstage pics so far Gemma looks a lot taller except next to Julie Stegner so her 5' 10" measuments may need to be re thought For example look against Cameron in the last post

Thank you for that comment re she never seems to take herself to seriously or have much of an ego I'm sure she is just as surprised by her success
