why not include gemma?I think appearing on less shows doest necessarily mean gemma s' no long 1 of the top 10 models.

its probably to gain more expousure for the the lesser known models and i dont think gems needs any more.

Ok no offense to anyone, but why to people find this girl stunning? Im just curious as to why all these agencys have picked girls who look like their crack-addicts :( i mean personaly I don't find them appealing with there anorexic bodies, and their bug eyes..What do you think?

So you're telling me that you've gone through 50+ pages of Gemma's pictures (and I hope you're not just judging her by the picture above your post which quite frankly is horrific) and you still think she looks like a crack addict?

I find that bizarre because to me Gemma is one of the healthiest looking models around. She is a tall girl with a slender frame but if you actually take the time to look she does have weight on her, she doesn't have prominent bones, sagging skin..she glows with health. She has big eyes yes but not because she is starved, because she is unique and wonderful....

Honestly, if all crack addicts looked like Gemma it would be the new health craze :innocent:

At dries van noten; you have to love them all! :woot:

i love her face. Such a doll. But her face needs very well applied make up. And I think her smile is pretty terrible. I also think Vogue is using her too much. How old is she btw? 16? 17?

Vogue are using her a lot. But she is very versatile. And, acester, i think that ed has been posted, but i havem't seen it that close up. It's a gorgeous ed...i have it pinned on my wall.

My point was that it has all been said before in terms of gemma (on this thread) so to get all excited and give karma like it's some new clever thing was a bit redundant;) :flower:

i can understand that...perhaps the person was new to the gemma thread and hadnt seen all that? for the record, i do like gemma haha...dont want anyone to think i necessarily agree that she looks like a monkey/alien...i actually have my own opinion on what she looks like :shifty: :p

Call it an aquired taste. I think gemma looks far from anorexic though, I know a few girls who are that thin naturally, her bones don't stick out or anything freaky. The whole bug eye thing is kinda cute, not sure if i'd call it sexy, or stunning, but pretty / cute yes.

Modeling is partly about being untouchable, having that image that people want and then projecting it onto a product. Seriously, how many girls can look like gemma? ^_^
