Not sure if this has been mentioned but there's a short clip of a mini-interview with Gemma here:

I just watched that, she's so charming there! :crush: As Belowen said, she does speak as if she's pretty mature for her age. Also, maybe it's just the similar accents, but she reminds me a bit of Keira Knightley.
(And, off topic- but I find it kind of funny how they're showing army ads before the fashion videos. An interesting vision of their clientel... You do not want me in your army, trust me!)

 Yup, they sound sort of similar to me though.

:woot: I just watched it and I agree Purple! She doesn't really have a very thick Australian accent; she almost sounds more English! That's so odd because usually when we hear Australians speak, they have a noticeably strong accent but hers is not that at all!
Wow! I was amazed to hear her speak; I expected Gemma to have a soft, girlish high voice but hers is a very mature, somewhat deep voice...I was totally shocked  But she is so sweet and humble! Lovely! :flower:

So I actually sort of right... ^_^

She does have a surprisingly deep voice - it makes her seem more mature and alluring, really. :)

Can't wait to see this on in the mags!

Wow Purple, you really think she sounded slightly British? I thought her Australian accent came out rather nicely! :flower:

oh no dont say that australians are so over the days of putting on british accents to "fit" in.
I think because she is/was a drama student she articulates and pronounces her words in a beautiful manner

Wow, that totally makes sense....mystery solved :flower:

Gemma is sooo pretty and she's like 16!

At first when I saw her on the runway, I didn't think too much of her, but I dunno what happened!

She's on the cover from September of Vogue Australia and Nippon. And the covers are hot!

Does anyone have a picture of the Nippon cover?

Belowen: (about the Gemma newspaper picture) Don't worry about it! I was just curious. Thanks for trying though! :flower:

Man, that makes me want to run down to my nearest Kinokuniya and pick up the Japanese version of Vogue...just for Gemma. :)
