Anyone in Australia, Melbourne, must get today's Sunday Herald Sun. Because the Sunday Magazine inside has Gemma on the cover, and an exclusive interview with her.
Hopefully someone can scan it.

I got it! The cover is awesome but I'm sure you've all seen the pics inside. There are some really great quotes though!

"There was one journalist who said I looked like a kewpie doll with all the air squeezed out", sh recalls. "I didn't even know what a kewpie doll was until my mother sent me a picture, and I though, I'm going to write down that person's name and never give them an interview," she giggles.

"I've never been one of those girls who ran into the bathroom and tried to change all the makeup, or tell the makeup artist that he was doing a bad job. There are girls who do that. I can distance myself a bit. You loook at yourself in the mirror and don't see yourself any more. I see what they are trying to create, a character. It's a lot better than thinking my face looks horrible in this much makeup!"

The article also said she was going to work on another short film soon about family with an autistic son. She is also working with 'The Hunger Project' and hopes to visit third world countries.

I'll try and scan it sometime if I can, but schoolworks a bit pressing right now.

I'm surprised that some girls do think they look horrible in the make-up...I always thought exactly as Gemma said..whether you look good or not you're trying to create a character I can't believe some girls tell the make-up artist that it's wrong
