don't know why she's so popular.....

Well, you have to note that she was younger when she did those shots. She's older now, and thus, her looks have matured to some extent. Also, depending on how they make her up, she can look very mature. Just look at the first few shots on this page of the thread. She looks a lot older and more mature. She'll always have a youthful edge - that's just the way her facial features portray her, but we like her because she's versatile (from perhaps young to much more mature, or from sweet to wild, etc etc), which is something to be coveted in the modelling world, with such a high turnover rate.

That is a STUNNING cover, though seeing childlike gemma in this pose does freak me a bit.

You know, Gemma used to really annoy me, I didn't think she was pretty, not even in a unique way, and I thought she looked too much like a little girl wearing sophisticated runway clothes. But I think she has both grown on me and grown as a runway model, and I think she is fabulous. Very unique, and pretty, and has big, amazing, eyes. She's kind of fascinating.
