the first time i saw gemma was her interview in the chanel spring 06 video on the british vogue site, and that's what made me like her. she seems very grounded and intelligent. mature for her age.

Kate Moss and gemma are complete different in all aspects from style to age.
It's difficult to compare such two totally different models.
I think it s unfair to compare gemma to kate.

i totally agree. I Love Kate, but i do feel it is unfair to compare gemma to kate because kate has experienced more and longer than gemma. Kate is just world wide known as a "THE Supermodel", but in my opinion i think gemma is getting there...

Gemma ward was film in short Pink Pyjamas in 2001

Gemma Ward needs a new way to unwind. Having just completed the fashion world tour, taking in New York, London, Milan and Paris and starring in a total of 55 shows, the Australian model has decided to take up violin lessons in a bid to relax.

"Music is a great way to get the frustration out and lose yourself," she said. And acting classes may be in the pipeline, too. Ward, who previously starred in a short film directed by young Australian star Elissa Down - 2001's Pink Pyjamas - also told WWD that she would be starring in a forthcoming independent Australian film, which is due to begin filming in September.
