Gemma Ward

I don't if it's because of the lighting or too much Photoshop, but that Vogue "The Girl from Oz" editorial is not that flattering. Her body looks phenomenal, but facially wise, in some of the pictures, it looks
distorted.
The cover and the face closeup are pretty but some of them
are just

Quivox, no one said she isn't beautiful anymore, she always will be!
It's just interesting to see how one of the most famous alien looking
models changes throughout the years.

I noticed that these have changed : no more puffy eyelids, her nose
is narrower (she grew into it), her lips are less close to the nose,
she now has cheekbones, her eyebrows have gotten darker.
Don't take this in a negative way, I love Gemma just as much as
everyone else!;)

The first two pics are 2004, I think, and the 3rd one is from marc
jacobs spring-summer of last year.

I think she has defintly grown into her face. She looks like a lady now, not like a girl, you know?

I agree with what you've highlighted, but most conspicuous change throughout the years to me is that her jawline has gotten noticibly stronger. That is the most differentiating change in my opinion.

Letting my uber-Gemma-nerd side out, the first picture is from FW04 Marni, the second (horizontally) SS06 Marc Jacobs, and the last Carlos Miele SS06 :ninja::ninja: (*Runs and hides in a dark dingy corner rocking herself back and forth cooing "it's ok, it's ok..." in a demented manner*)

Can anyone confirm if Gemma will be at the Fall 2007 New York shows, or will she be in Sydney filming?

Thanks!

I kind of see a resemblance to Sasha Pivovarova, only Gemma doesn't look so possessed on the runway. LOL. I love Gemma's baby doll/alien look!!

By the way, how many Vogue covers has Gemma done? Does anyone have the scans? Thanks in advance!!

Finishing my thought........
When I first posted that paragraph, the rest of my post was missing and I didn't have time to re-write my thoughts.

"As a male I have to admit that some of the comments posted here from time to time seem kind of strange. Gemma was a beautiful 16 year old, and a beautiful 17 year old ............etc and she'll be beautiful still when she's 21 and older.
But,......she isn't 16 anymore, and she's never going to look like a 16 year old again. Same goes for all of us, male or female. But it just seems odd that so many Women here post comments about how she's not as attractive now that she's lost her "youthful teenage look", considering that so many females also complain about men being attracted to a young teenage look as well, and complaining that it's not normal or healthy to do so, on the males part.

But aren't the comments here about how much more attractive Gemma was before she lost her "youthful " look, just reinforcing that male outlook?
