so far i think gemma has been one of the new comers who has gotten more attention than most models would... her versatile facial features and unique look give the word beauty a new meaning, she differentiates from the traditional barbie commercial model to a more natural looking plain jane that is in fact a true beauty. good luck to her and im sure she will absolutely put us Aussies' back on the map!

I have never really liked her, she has very beautiful eyes but other than
that, she looks what everyone else is saying . A DEER WITH HEAD-LIGHTS.

I don't know why , but she is just not my type.

what face shape would gemma have? it's so easy to get suckered into thinking you have to have a square-bony face in order to model, a face with all these hard angles, when most models have soft features and oval faces without hard angles. like naomi campbell, trish goff, liberty ross, adriana lima.

She could still have some Asian in her.... it could be in a more distant relative... or maybe a grandparent.. greatgrandparent, etc? I have a friend who's grandpa is Chinese. She has all caucasian features except for the shape of her eyes.

by the way this picture was in the march issue of UKvogue along with lauren serge, anna j ( her!)anna marie van dijk, lucy palmer (winner of elite model look comp.), renee meijer and iza olak. they were predicted the new faces, well they got one right for sure!

I think Gemma is pretty, she does have an odd look, but it comes out well to me in her fotos. She has this angel like quality that translates in her fotos to me it does.

i first saw her in the atelier versace spring04 show, and personally, i thought that she looked like a mango.... and in valentino, she looked like a plum,,, probably because of the shape of her face...

bu actually in the fall shows, i think she's really unique. she's super innocent looking, and there's something about her lips and chin that particularly amazes me... it's picture perfect even if her cheekbones are not that well-defined like other models... B)

have you seen the versus ad wherein she had her hair pulled back, wearing shades and a blue top? she has such a big forehead,,, kind of reminds me of stella mccartney... hahaha... i dunno why...


she looks awful in fierce make-up,,,

a more natural and powder-fresh look brings out the beauty in her... love her!
