Agreed, I think that comment was rather tasteless and ignorant.
None of the runway models of present are particularly busty, and the ones who are, namely Gisele and Adriana Lima, are not only rumoured to be fakes, but also focus primarily on Victoria's Secret and similar lines. Perhaps one should first look at the other models before insulting gorgeous and different, Gemma Ward?

I personnally don't appreciate that comment since having breasts or not is NOT a choice. I am personnally flat chested and took me a VERY LONG while to accept my body the way it is. Thank god I didn't let those kind of comments go to my head during my un-confident years otherwise I would have gotten implants a long time ago.

Gemma ward is one of my favorite models.. I think she looks sooo beautiful.. which is weird becuase I thought she looked like a freak when I first saw her (I saw her first in the Alexander McQueen show where she had the short short curly hair and weird makeup).. she has definately grown on me.

I really agree with the posters who say she is really growing up.. she is turning into a woman in front of our eyes.

Ditto..... it took me over 5 years to accept that I have no breasts. But, I find that girls WITH them tend to complain more about them

geez...i never looked back at this thread and had no idea iof the little furor i caused with my remark...i think everyone made a lot of assumptions about what i meant...

i was absolutely not suggesting a boob job...nor was i suggesting she was not beautiful...i never said any of that so please don't assume..i was simply making an observation...and it is also something i have personal experience with...so please don't be jumping to conclusions...
i looked like a pre-pubescent boy until about 25 yrs old... i was a bit of a 'late bloomer'...
and it's not like i'm exactly sophia loren now...but most grown women who would be purchasing the clothes gemma is modelling look nothing like that ...so it's a bit misleading to show someone like that in the clothes...sort of like 'false advertising'...

anyway...it happens all the time...erin o'connor has absolutely no breasts either...and she's my favourite model currently...
a fact is a fact...not necessarily something negative...i guess it depends on your perspective and sensitivities...but i never intended anything derogatory about gemma or women with small breasts...just stated what i think was something that is clearly true...

please..i'm like a doctor...you have no idea how many naked bodies i have seen...every shape and size...i guess i'm just not as sensitive to it because after awhile you see that there are so many different shapes and sizes that are all beautiful in their own ways...

i honestly didn't mean any offense ladies......sorry if anyone got upset...

My little six-year-old sister just walked by while I was looking at this thread, and I told her about Gemma Ward etc. etc... and when she saw this picture, she said "Look, there's three of her!!" hahah... so funny... they do look pretty similar
