i don't like gemma on the runways...there's just something about her that bugs me. But in editorials and in print ads, she's just so ethereal and gorgeous and cute and wonderful and awesome. Her Hermes print ads are some of the best I've seen these years. Oh! And I also love her in her backstage pics...she's so adorable when she smiles!

Yes!!!!! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE her Hermes ads--they ABSOLUTELY blow me away. She looks amazing in print. Amazing. I used to be no fan of this girl, I thoughy she looked like a lost child in sophisticated clothing. But she has grown immensely as model. She has amazing talent, and her beauty is unique, you just want to stare at her.
But you're right, something is a little off about her on the runway, usually, and I don't know what it is.
However, I really hope she doesn't get too overexposed and fade away. I think she is fantastic.

I love watching these shows.. and it was the first time I've heard her voice.. she's much more mature sounding that I thought she'd be.. They interview her in the middle beggining and near the end.. they're very short clips though.

Charlotte - thanks for the link! Usually I go to Style.com, but it's nice to know there's another resource out there. Same! I was initially surprised at the way she sounded - much more mature than she looked, and this was when she was first hitting it big, not so much now that she's 17! Sometimes models are like that - Emina surprised me with her English - it was almost unaccented...
