why?, she's horrible! look at that face?, there's no beauty on her features, she's just an ugly girl dressed with beautiful and spectacular clothes.

I mean, I love Kristen McMenamy, she is not a babe but who cares?, she's stylish, sophisticated, in any way beautiful!, But Gemma?, c'mon, she looks like an orphan baby alien without style.

Isabeli Fontana is beautiful, Paulina Porizkova, a young Brooke, a young Cindy, they're beautiful women!

haha - I half wonder if I should be offended or not (currently I'm not), because people tell me I look like an Asian Gemma Ward (and I'm flattered, because I think she's totally gorgeous and 10000x better looking than I am, hehe). I think the wide-set eyes and face shape turns some people off (from what I can tell) and that's what I have, so I guess some part of this world thinks I'm an alien fetus, and some part thinks I'm cute. hahahahaha.

You have a point. Sort of like how I can't overlook Omayrah (sp?), even though I really really don't think she's good looking AT ALL.

while i don't think she's "ugly" at all, she is certainly not beautiful in a traditional way. that's not a put-down or derogatory comment either. she has a very unique beauty, very pure and very ethereal. (although this comes out mostly in her amazing print ads, not on the runway, imo.) and it makes her stand out from the other models, which is awesome.

15 year old model from Perth, Australia. She participated in Ford's Search for a Supermodel competition here last year but unfortunately didnt make it past the first rounds (although everybody loved her!). She's done a few jobs here and there but just recently things have taken off for her.

10 days ago she signed with IMG in New York, they sent her video off to Prada and they have immediately booked her for their Spring 2004 show. I think it is excellent news and I couldnt be happier for her. (search Gemma Ward on Vogue forums and you will notice I have been a fan right from the first time I saw her on SFAS)
