Ever since the death of the supermodel, fashion had been looking for
the next new thing. It found it when a skinny Perth teenager with wide
eyes and bee-stung lips made her runway debut for Lisa Ho and Billion
Dollar Babies at Australian Fashion Week. Within months. ethereal 15-year-old
Gemma Ward, who has been described as coming from "another dimension"
was catapulted on to the international catwalk. She hasnt looked back and has since done campaigns for Prada and YSL.
