I think she could definately make the transition between modelling and acting. Despite her immense success in the fashionworld.. she is still not well known to the public.. so she won't be viewed as some model who is trying to act if she were to ever make a movie... no typecasting.. so she has a chance to get some serious roles.

very good point.. and, just trying to take [optimistic] advantage of the situation.. think about it. If Gemma, who is already basically a supermodel (to the fashion world, that is) could make the transition to acting.. think about the potential publicity that famous and amazing, but unknown to the general public, models could maybe start getting.. i mean, this would be an unlikely spin to things.. but maybe it could really get the hype started for the next supermodel reign.. ?! after people started realizing she was a HUGE model (not just some uma thurman/cameron diaz small-time thing.. no offense-- i love them) before she was an actress maybe they would think more about actual models, hence models getting the covers of american vogue? maybe not.. just a random thought
