Someone from the Gemma LJ comm just met her today...but I don't think anyone notices her height when they see her (They're just in awe? )

i was walking up the stairs of the bedford avenue L stop, and she was walking down, and we walked into each other. she's, as expected, quite tall and extremely frail looking, but very unassuming; her features don't look as extreme or 'alien-like' in person. basically, she's beautiful without make up, et cetera."
