I love Gemma she is thinner than Gisele

God I hope you were being sarcastic.

But anyway, I don't think Gemma's going to beat Gisele. Even though I prefer Gemma to Gisele, Gisele's too big right now and she's STILL in the business, so it'd take Ward quite some time.

This mostly is addressed to other males who might be reading or have been posting.

For every "red blooded straight" male who thinks Gisele is IT, there will be another like me who thinks he's lost his mind. As for Gemma, that will take years to see since there are so many other amazing new models who also are coming out of no where. My favorite still is Gemma but the competition is fierce.

Gisele was far from an overnight hit... If I recall correctly most guys thought she had a masculine face but her body redirected the attentions of some. I recall one SI shoot where her face was rarely even SHOWN! Just most everything else. Plus she got helped by the early days of VS/SI popularity waves to the flooding maintream coverage from dating Titanic boy.

Saying that all straight men or even a majority of straight men like ONE kind of female is just nutty. Just compare the split between "face" men and the "rear" men or even better the "leg" men and "chest" men. Usually the leg men think the boob men are neandrathals and the boob men think the leg men are gay. Just seen it for too long and it's frustrating. It's like saying there is only one standard of female beauty and if you disagree you must not like women....or worse, that such a male must be some sort of scary lurker.

As for that lolita thing -- that usually comes from any man who thinks a woman does not have a big enough chest or her legs are too skinny. But yeah there is an overfocus on the under 18 girls - in everything from acting and music to modelling. I get tired of it too. I also recognize some models like Natalia V & Kate Moss really catered to that lolita look in their beginnings. Simply cannot say the same of Gemma -- her campaigning appeal is much much more mainstream.

I have no idea what Gemma's staying power may or may not be since she just turned 18 and has a loong way to go. However, when I saw Gisele as the #1 earner in Forbes last week I about spit out my coffee. If money making ability is the standard for female beauty for who "defines" an 80s 90s or 00s look, we all need to take a chill pill.

Ask any man to name off the top 3 or 4 most beautiful women -- let's say even only from modeling and I'll be surprised if Gisele's name precedes those of Lima, Ambrosio, Kurkova, etc....or someone from the early VS days like Cindy Crawford or Claudia Schiffer.

There, got that off my chest. Hate getting involved in these things -- but suggesting that only gay men like Gemma or any other leggy model who lacks exaggerated upper tracts of land just rattles my cage.

We may have very different tastes in beauty but it hardly means one of us must not like women. I'll keep checking out the pretty faced leggy women and we probably won't run into eachother again -- lol. Cheers with only good clarifying will intended.

Gemma thinks she's the best. She always says, 'Guys, I'm going to take this big wave' - but then she just swims back all scared!
