there's pros and cons to her doing Australian Fashion Week...

if she did it, her profile would increase and improve in Australia. she's still not yet a household name here yet, but I think if she did Australian fashion week she would get ALOT of exposure and press as a result.

it would also help her, as far as the patriotism aspect goes....because her profile is big in the modelling and fashion world, it would also help lift Oz Fashion Week's profile....and everyone would love her as a consequence...

however, it looks like she's already booked for big campaigns already in that period. i don't think it's a monetary thing. she's earnt enough im sure to be financially secure for the rest of her life (if she invests well). i think it's a prestige thing for her, to fulfil her commitments for other, bigger designers and magazines....

if Australian Fashion week was SMART, they would have booked her MONTHS AND MONTHS ago for their runways.

BUT THEN, the Oz fashion industry is a bit clueless in my opinion. Afterall, these were the people who didn't even put Gemma in the top 20 Perth Finals for Ford's Search for a Supermodel....derrrrrrrrrrrrrr.....
