Here's a modest suggestion for some events:
- The first time she went to Milan and met Muccia Prada, who apparently saw her and said "Bella!", and Gemma was instantly cast in the Prada show
- In her Spring 2006 show diary for Australian Vogue she mentioned getting stopped by some Japanese fans who had recognized her and ended up posing for so many pics that her "mouth felt like it was about to succumb to paralysis"
