Acester, to put it bluntly, I think the reason she was at MTV music awards was for the free gift/goodie bags (award shows are great at off-loading wads of free gifts which can total up to over $1000s per person to ensure everyone who's anyone comes to the show and snags them, which in turn gives them miles of free publicity and press coverage ) In some shots, you can see her trying on sunglasses which will later be bestowed upon her for free and in others, she's displaying the blue gift bags which she's scored that night B)

(NEW YORK) In between fittings and photo shoots Tuesday, Gemma Ward managed to squeeze in an hour to visit the temporary Polaroid Lounge at Marquee, where she shopped like a kid in a candy store, perusing the retail mecca’s selection of T-Mobile Sidekicks, Kitson jeans, Luxottica eyewear, and Linea Pelle belts. But it was the eye-catching Lia Sophia jewelry collection that had the supermodel swooning. In a matter of minutes, she snagged a $2,200 black Swarovski crystal-encrusted necklace, double tear-dropped cuffs at $475 a pop, and diamante stretch bracelets valued at $900 each. “Gotta get those jewels for Fashion Week,” reminded the line’s designer, Dani Stahl.
