(NEW YORK) Gemma Ward may have a year to go before she turns 21, but the Aussie supermodel gained an extra hour of partying thanks to Daylight Savings Time Saturday at a late-night bash she threw to celebrate her 20th birthday. "I'm an eagle without the wings," she said of her feathered cocktail dress, which she paired with gladiator Balenciaga sandals in keeping with her jungle-fever theme. "She had to be sewed and glued in," laughed Caroline Winberg, who came as Sebastian the Crab from The Little Mermaid, of the costume made by stylist Michael Angel (the two later changed into jungle print Dolce & Gabbana gowns). In addition to Ward's mom, Claire, who flew in from Perth, Australia, other revelers who danced to music deejayed by a Bernhard Willhelm-clad Agyness Deyn and joined the baby-faced Aussie in doing Red Bull shots included Edward Enninful as a park ranger, Lisa Cant as a bunny, Charlotte Ronson, James Kaliardos, and Josh Hartnett, who came as himself. "I'm a bum," he joked.
Caroline Trentini waxed poetic over her friend, whom she's shared many a professional moment with. "We've done a lot together," she said, dressed as a leopard. "We had our first couture season together and did our first Meisel Italian Vogue shoot together." So what did one model get the other? "Fancy candles; it's so hard to get gifts!" she exclaimed. Julia Restoin-Roitfeld, meanwhile, who paid homage in a vintage python John Galliano blazer, reminisced about her own 20th birthday bash. "I had a dinner party at Les Bains Douches when it was still cool," she laughed. "I forget about the drinking age thing; I had vodka at 18--and at 21."
