The photo may be cute but it's also a fake. It's been photoshopped. See especially the right side of her face (left side of the photo). Not a very good job either.

Oy to the vey! That's the whole point; it's all in good humour!

Of course it was photoshopped... did you read the article? The hikers were only able to capture a photo of Gemma from behind (that genuine picture is included at the link as well as below) so she merely cut and pasted an old '03 photo of Gemma in front of a random Nepalese Annapurna Circuit background (with some mountain goats, a donkey, and an outhouse to boot). It all makes sense in the context of the story.

However Gemma's body/face was in no way photoshopped; merely an old backstage Marc by Marc photo was lifted and placed in front of the Nepal scene. Sort of à la Fashion Week Daily if you will.

i know Gemma's been off the scene for a while...and I've gotten used to it....but I'm beginning to feel severe Gemma Ward withdrawal! I want her to return and be the fashion hurricane Gemma Ward that we all know and love! But alas...I did love The Strangers.
