now I have really looked through every single page of this thread!!! In fact it took me 1 month
I realized its really Gemmas personality that makes her stand out even more than her look. She just seems like such an incredible smart and sweet girl. acester: she used to go to your school right? Do you remember seeing her? Its always so cool to hear from people who have actually met her!

Agreed Ella-Picobella. There are a few models that turned me off when watching their interviews, but Gemma just came off as very mature and eloquent in her interviews. I was surprised that she has a deep voice at first though. It's like, she has a very innocent and child-like look, but has the maturity of some beyond her years. She is one of the few models that make me like her more after watching her interviews, instead of making me like her less.

However, even though it is sad for me to say this, but she just doesn't have the same look as she does in her early years. Due to growing up, but maybe it's the smoking also... Gemma, stop smoking! Look at what happened to Kate Moss! She's still my favorite model nonetheless.

i can understand why gemma did the strangers. she would be drawn to a movie that has her wearing a mask the whole time. it means she would have to have actual talent instead of using her pretty face. it also means the directors thought she had talent as well.

anyway i really do miss her on the fashion scene, and i hope she returns soon or at least does an editorial for paris vogue or another magazine of that quality. (not US vogue though, i'm so sick of wintour making gemma into one of those pretty housewives )

Totally random but I just saw the extended ending of The Strangers on youtube. This is the most ludicrous thing I ever thought of concerning a horror movie. Even though the two main characters got stabbed to death, they should have been happy that at least one of their killers is a gorgeous supermodel. That's what I thought the whole time. I really hoping Gemma would show her pretty face and then show off all the Gucci, Chanel, and Prada underneath her sweater but she didn't . But the vibe she gave off in the movie was so convincing anyway. I was also waiting for those boys in the bicycles to swoon over Gemma approaching them instead of just being scared of her but then I had to remember this was a horror movie, not a movie about a supermodel haha.

..I miss her modeling. These new models on the rise now aren't even a tenth of the model that Gemma was!
