I don't get it. What's so funny about the name Tamara?

When Gemma was in the Strangers her lines were about this other character Tamara - "Is Tamara home?" and "Hi. Is Tamara here?"

and now its kind of ironic that her pirates of the caribbean charater is called Tamara.

When you guys kept bringin' up "The Strangers" I went to IMDB, but didn't find the name Tamara.
I was like, "I don't see any Tamara. I can't see how the name is ironic to her POTC character's name."
