Gemma Ward

I can easily see a Vogue Aus cover happening for her. She's probably one of the most anticipated models to return to modeling. Even if the industry has changed I am sure she is a great exception

Terribly sorry if this has been posted already but a tumblr posted a video of Gemma with the caption:

apparently this is what retired supermodels do with their spare time

Here is the video which seems pretty recent. Her and her friends build a candlelit chandelier (which looks like an enormous fire hazard).

I'd say it looks more like a jar falling on your head hazard..maybe also a hot wax hazard. But for the latter you could just use a napkin to soak it up, and quickly peel the hot wax off of somebody's head.

I thought the Frockwriter story had a statement from IMG that she'll be on their website in 24 hours? Still nothing on there? :(

any news ? i think maybe if she comes back , she will be on the special booking for actors or something like that ... i really wondering xX

I don't know why but i've got a gut feeling that Gemma may make her return for the David Jones Fashion Parade.

I'm super happy about her come back, BUT: why a model of her previous (and even actual) status (a contemporary muse) should sign with IMG Australia and not directly with NY or Milan or Paris? I knoiw that IMG Australia is a new leg of IMG worldwide and they try to hit the scene with strong names, but a model like Gemma should returns in the scene from the main door..you know what I mean?
Models like Iselin Steiro or Elise Crombez after their break didn't re-start with local jobs, but with major ones..
