The year of freedom for Giambattista !

Giambattista Valli said Cia to Ungaro last fall ... and run for itself since that.
Friday march 4th he show us his first wonderfull ready to wear collection under his own name.
The show was one of the big attraction of the Paris fashion week for FW 05/06 a huge troup of jounalist was very impatient to see the work of Giambattista.
Already during the few last collections under the ungaro name we could feel that he was becoming more and more independant but now I can realy express what I want to do.
During the show we could see two main side of his work, first "the knife woman" very slim and graffic with a collection of easy things to wear during every time of the day (or the evening), second "the meringue women" with more shaped clothes more things for partying and dancing.
Giambattista Valli is becoming a important name to know in the fashion industry with a great talent !
