Gift ideas for $100 or less?

E-bay - vintage jewlery.. it doesn't cost very much you could easily find some very nice pieces for under 100 US

hanne, I do the same thing, but have been looking mostly at bakelite horses for horsey friends and also vintage illustrated horse books. I think the idea of buying an old book along the lines of someones interest's or hobbies is a nice thoughtful gift.

I just came across this website : http://fredflare.com/ they have a lof of fun, cute and under 100$ items ..

A Juno cheeseburger phone anyone ?
A Charlie Brown Chrismas tree ?
Flowers in a can..
Gorgeour feather headbans..
Star wars R2D2 backpack..
Forget me knot ring

and so on and on..I think there is somethng for everyone.. unless you're a complete minimalist..

^ I did this last year with some folks! I put together little care packages with different smaller gifts and sent 'em off!!
They frequently sell out of more popular items!
Good browsing, tho

etsy.com is great for finding something nice, unusual and not too expensive.
MAC holiday makeup stuff?

My brother is doing a secret santa type thing for his new years party (My family and most of our friends are from Russia or surrounding countries were new years would be the big holiday instead of xmas/hanukkah, so we exchange gifts on new year...). Everyone brings a gift costing no more than about $20-30 and when it's gift time we take turns picking from the tree so you dont know who your shopping for. Anyone have any good super cheap gift ideas? I'm stumped!

I love Joe Malone perfumes as a gift, especially Orange Blossom.

For the secret Santa, I would probably go with bath stuff or chocolates/candy personally. Etsy actually also has really, really cute items like handmade soaps.

greenergrassdesign sometimes has some fun and unusual stuff...

here is a link to a selection of things on that site for under $50: http://www.greenergrassdesign.com/shop-by-price--50-and-under.html

poketo.com is having a sale (ends mindnight pacific time on December 11th), but even without the sale you can get some fun stuff for good prices:

on the poketo site i've found that their artist wallets make for good gifts (i believe they are $20 each for the most part) and you can select a wallet that sort of matches the personality of the person you intend to gift it to...

some of the artist prints they sell on that site are also nice...
and the wallets and prints (i think) are all limited edition so that adds another cool element to gifts from that site...

I'm still not done with the gift shopping :unsure:

Here are some additional ideas though:
-lottery tickets
-soy candles
-lavender eye pillows (some places let you customize the fabric, & these are really nice as well as the lavender & flax teddy bears or neck pillows "U'-shape that you can warm up in the microwave)
-magazine subscriptions
-nice bottle of wine
-See's or Godiva chocolate
-pair of gloves (and/or arm warmers )

wishingfish.com is another good site to look at, besides fredflare.com

Since you always need ideas for under $100 gifts...One thing that I wanted to do for my mum was get her a Coach mini skinny, and then a giftcard for her favourite clothing store. Giftcards are not the most imaginative, however it isn't just a giftcard, and I know she would go out and use it the very next day. Another thing that you can do is a spa basket, if they are into that kind of thing. The best way to go is to hit a drugstore or Target, because they will have sales quite frequently on things like bath mitts, gel eye masks, and so forth. Then get a nice candle, a nice bubble bath, and then a body lotion, and package with a "Do Not Disturb" sign.Starbucks gift cards are always nice...For $30 and under things, chocolates are always nice, a fairly safe way to go. Bath stuff is nice, however people can be downright picky as far as that goes, be it fragrances or products. Candles can be a fairly decent way to go, but again, be careful about the fragrance. You can't go wrong with vanilla scents, or ocean scents. If you lived here in Seattle, I would send you to Archie McPhee, because they have all sorts of fun, quirky things. Also, back to Starbucks...get them a $20 Starbucks giftcard, and then give them a mug and a box of hot chocolate. Those are just ideas though...this is actually a good time to shop, as many places have the big post-Christmas sales, so you can stretch your $$$ even further.
