I like the black & white striped dress because it makes me think of my grandmother (in a good way...she had everything handmade for her and this reminds me of moire silk housecoat of hers that I have) but...in the main, it's not lighting me on fire...

i was there first row on the left...
it was a great show.. the clothes were much more commercial and the bags (by mulberry) were a good idea.
there was a beautiful fat knitted silver/gold jumper worn as a first look by carmen kass..

Half the collection should've been edited out. Far too many silhouettes and directions. What is with the space debris on the head? He obviously doesn't mind women looking like fools.
Some pieces are very nice but killed by the rest.

I know Giles did work experience there for 3 months last year. I love everything about the collection sooo fresh! His obviously changed his target customer! love itttttttt!

clearly, without question this dude has talent. he knows how to design clothing that are fresh and interesting.
the problem seems to be that maybe he's not sure how to put together a cohesive collection. i won't judge him now, its too early in his career and with experience and time he should get it right

wow, so much better than his last collection, the long black knit dress

i'll pass the colour palette and the ugly prints, apart from the confetti number which seemed fresh.. on the whole, the good old Gilles that i like is BACK
