I think the casting director for shows isn't the same as for campaigns.

I find this to be a good thing. When you watch his shows, you are never distracted by the cast. It's also refreshing to not see the runway filled with the current top models.

They used, check his shows from decade ago. From Kass and Kurkova to Kloss and Donaldson everyone were there. And later he did these retrospective shows in different cities and also booked many experienced models
