GISELE'S DESIGNS ON D&G
spacer.gif
GISELE BUNDCHEN is to "do a Kate" and design a range of clothing - with her suitably qualified friends Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. Despite receiving various offers to design a range in the past, we hear that the Body from Brazil was always keen to stick to doing what she knew best until Dolce & Gabbana, with whom Gisele is close, encouraged her to get in on the act with them. She is currently the face of the design duo's new perfume, The One, worldwide sales of which have reached the £75 million mark. Ever the shrewd business woman, it seems the potential figures have done the talking for Gisele - whose sex-bomb attitude combined with Dolce & Gabbana's raunchy signature will surely be a match made in design heaven. Bundchen by Dolce & Gabbana will be released next spring and sold worldwide. (December 20 2007, AM)

her usual white vest + jeans combo is not very dolce & gabbana!

maybe she's one of those "designers" that don't dress according to what they design. hopefully.

i think its a bad idea. i think she should have stuck with designing lingerie and bikinis at H&M....

I think, maybe, that if it wasn't for the pandemic of celeb designers, this may be interesting to see.

The muse becomes the designer, kind of an interesting concept.

Agreed...since she is working with D&G she is probably going to charge quite a bit.

At least she's doing it with a cheesy, cheap brand rather than a good brand. It fits her.

I really don't know how I feel about this.....so I will hold judgement until I see it. -_-

I love Gisele, but I'm very undecided on this. I'm not a fan of celebrity fashion, but who am I to judge...? :ermm:

Judging by her flip-flop range, it"s going to be horrendous. Flip-flops are much harder to mess up than clothes and she well managed that.
If they are smart and wont let her touch the pencil this could beat kate moss.

not again! Seriously, using the famous people as "designers" is just another marketing trick to get the sales up. Im so tired of this already...they should leave the talent to those who actually can design and keep the models, actors and singers our of the design room!

We can all moan and complain now about celebrities designing a range of clothing for a designer...
but there's still probably something itching inside of you to see what the collection is going to be like.
