Gisele Bundchen

That jumpsuit is almost awful,
like someone took a couch from the 50s and turned it into a ONEPIECE!

Agree with the eye make-up,
too orange. too much.

Is Gisele Bundchen OVER?

Gisele is not a simple woman or a top model, she's an event. No matter what she wears or the scenery she's modeling at; the top model appearance is already a good reason to watch the 2008 Summer Colcci fashion show, that closed the third day of Fashion Rio, this Tuesday night. This was the basic thought around celebrities and fashionistas who attended the show. Well, they were wrong!

Beautiful, famous and talented as a model, Gisele was tranformed into a tipical funk brazilian girl. And it seems that she didn't like the results. On her first entrance (not that funky yet), Gisele, who always greet the brazilian crowd with a smile due to the reaction of people screaming, walked through the runway modeling as always, but serious, pissed, with shy smiles, looking to the floor many times (only on her third entrance, she did it 5 times).

Curiously, the crowd didn't seem to be so crazy by her presence. There were applauses, yes, regular screaming, but much more contained than the ones featured in previous seasons.

Gisele's funk queen transformation really happened on her second entrance, when she was wearing very very skinny pants and a small top. She wasn't looking any fatter as she said she was after recently quit smoking. She was actually thinner... She did her third appearance and not even one friendly swing to the brazilians, whom she is always kind with.

Photographers and fashion gurus are feeling tired of her modeling career and not feeling the excitement they once felt for her. "She's always repeating the same thing, as a caricature of herself, but obviously she is still a good model", said Bruno Garcez, fashion producer. Magazines photographer Osvaldo F and editor Ricardo Keuchgerian agree - the enchant is over. "It's always the same steps, nothing changes. Even the models that used to copy her runway walk aren't doing it anymore. I think Gisele's era is over, but she doesn't seem to care".

that text was translated from a site here in brazil, but the title you put makes us think people are saying she's over, when actually the portuguese text makes it clear that gisele herself thinks her moment and the supermodels moments is over...

I agree with this. Gisele has reached the top of her game, now she has to re-invent herself. Everytime I see red carpet pictures of her, it's always the same poses(peace sign or contorting her body in different positions). She's not fresh anymore, she has definetly become a caricature of herself, like she is playing the role of Supermodel Gisele.

YES YES YES!
The peace sign and maybe she'll wink too...
right on the money, sweetcandy.
