Gisele Tapped To Unveil New D&G Fragrance

Brazilian supermodel and fashionable girl-about-town Gisele Bundchen has been chosen by Saks to unveil the newest Dolce & Gabbana fragrance, The One, on July 16 at the flagship store, Saks Fifth Avenue. She will also be revealing her ad campaign for the fragrance and signing autographs (since when did models get as famous as celebrities)
The One is "a warm Oriental floral mix of bergamot, lychee, peach, madonna lily, jasmine, and plum. The fragrance will debut exclusively at Saks in New York City before launching in Saks stores nationwide, as well as at Dolce & Gabbana boutiques, Neiman Marcus, and other department and specialty stores," reports Fashion Week Daily.

Without Gisele, the VS catalog has definitely lost its allure. I just loved all the latest--the Dior show and Mappin & Webb. Looking forward to more news about her work for The One and Dolce and Gabbana. I can't stop looking at all the photos. She is the best.

I picked up the new Fall Preview 2007 catalogue. She has, what, no more than 10 of her pictures in there. They are using a lot of Doutzen and Julia and Miranda, but they don't have the allure like Gisele does.

I have to agree.
I found out because I personally don't really like Gisele THAT much (nothing disrespectful, she just doesn't appeal to me so much that I check her thread or pictures daily or anything), but I used to visit the VS site quite often..And sometimes even buy stuff!
Ever since she left them, I haven't visited at all. Well, that's a lie, I did once..But the pictures bored me and then I left the site again I wasn't on there for even 2minutes..
So she really did give them the extra something, from my point of view.

AGREED. She has a sexier edge that's not too exotic. It's not terrestrial but if you wanted to see the most beautiful woman in the world in her underwear, let's just say Alessandra's not it.
