Gisele Bundchen Goes Greenwich
Gisele Bundchen leaves her Greenwich Village apartment with her dog riding along in a hand bag on Thursday (May 7) in New York City.
While at the 2009 Rainforest Alliance gala, the 28-year-old Brazilian beauty said, “I think I’m the happiest person. You know what the secret to being happy is? Being grateful. And I’m very grateful.”
“We tried very hard to keep it private. Oh my God, you have no idea how hard that was,” Gisele said about planning the wedding. She also told People that only closest friends and family were there. “I think family is the base to everything. I have a lot to be grateful for but I think family is definitely number one.”

I always say that too ^ :p she always made it look classy and/or edgy for some strange reason :D and even for the more "racy" shots she never looked sleazy but rather "bombshell"

The Independent published a very long article about Gisele
According to them, there are supermodels - and there is Gisele Bündchen

Here's the link

Actresses Are Edging Out Models on Magazine Covers
By SUZY MENKES

NEW YORK - Have models lost their clout to celebrities? While the Metropolitan Museum is showing half a century of models on magazine covers, today's issues are more likely to feature Hollywood stars.

"It's a difficult time for models," says Marc Jacobs, the chief sponsor of the Costume Institute exhibition. "The whole idea of supermodels came in a pop culture when actresses weren't that interesting. Now Hollywood is filled with young actresses, and there is digital technology to make them look good."

Although the first lady, Michelle Obama, and the "Gossip Girl" star Blake Lively have graced the cover of Vogue this year, the May issue features "The Faces of the Moment" photographed by Steven Meisel. An initial trio of models - Liya Kebede, Natalia Vodianova and Anna Jagodzinska - unfolds into a tryptich of nine women: mostly Central European blondes with a few darker skins. Yet even if they all have a frenzied fanzine following, few people could name them.

The exception is the model Gisele Bündchen, on the cover of Vanity Fair - the half-naked body of the Brazilian beauty proving that she has long since moved from clotheshorse to stardom.

But who else - except for the iconic Kate Moss, still just holding on to her supermodel status at 36 - appears on a glossy cover?

Anna Wintour, editor in chief of Vogue for two decades, admits that she is more likely to find star power in Hollywood than on the runway. "The public interest in models these last few years has not been as it was during the early '90s when Naomi [Campbell] and Linda [Evangelista] caused so much excitement," Ms. Wintour says. "And until models become celebrities again in their own right, I can't see them selling as well on magazine covers as actresses."

The latest Vogue focuses on the models' private lives - "boyfriends, babies, closets, catwalks, diets and dramas." But ads within the glossy pages show that Dolce & Gabbana's makeup is represented by Scarlett Johansson's pale flesh and pouting lips; Kate Winslet "models" for Lancôme's Trésor fragrance, and Cate Blanchett is the face of the latest "miracle ingredient" in skin care.

Ms. Wintour says that the scarcity of models fronting Vogue is because "the generation that followed the supermodels shied away from that sort of fabulosity and scrutiny."

"For models to have the same social and commercial clout as Hollywood stars, they will have to want to live that sort of 'fishbowl' existence; they will have to be up for living a glamorous and public existence," she says. "Gisele and Kate did this, of course, by dating the likes of Leonardo di Caprio and Johnny Depp early in their careers; by going out to events and walking the red carpet; and by each having, in their very different ways, a world-class sense of style."
