What a stupid argument really...Gisele Bundchen is a model and when I see her in a mag or whatever the only thing I'm interesting in is in her photos, looks..., I mean if she's a selfish or if she's a liar...just I don't care, all these don't take away her physical beauty...
Moreover there are a lot of models who do drugs, who are arrogant...but no one says nothing about them. I don't understand the obsession with this girl....If she has a hyprocritical attitude and you dont' like her, why are you wasting your time in this thread?

I think you're right (thanks for the pics by the way). I probably shouldn't have posted to begin with-I had no intention of starting an argument- it was just something I'd noticed and it irked me a little. I'm on the thread b/c I think that Gisele is occasionally an exceptional model (meaning beautiful and photogenic etc.) I say occasionally b/c the quality of her work varies. That may havwe to do with her, or it may be about who she working with at the time (designers, photographers, etc.)

I don't think Leo does drugs- I've never read about that (even in gossip rags) and he's never been brought up on charges or anything. He works with several anti-drug groups and he speaks about keeping kids off drugs. I've never heard of Gisele doing drugs either though I haven't heard about her discouraging other like leo does. just 'cause drugs are common in hollywood and the modelling industry, it doesn't mean that EVERYONE in those businesses is involved w/ them.

(giggles) Context, people, context. "Former boyfriend says...". "She resigned as an Elite model, defecting to IMG." Ever suppose that those two things (among others) could have just a tiny bit of bearing on what Casablancas said?

Not to mention, Casablancas has said negative things that have little relation to reality about many other models.

I would say that Gisele looks like a transvestite, but that would be an insult to transvestites the world over, many of whom are far prettier than she is.

Five years after the fact, I still don't get why Gisele Bundchen is considered a supermodel, or The Supermodel. Of course, these are my opinions and as such they're totally subjective but every time I see her I can't help but think "Damn, she's ugly." I hate the fact that the media (Conde Nasties included) tries to force-feed her to the public as "the world's most beautiful woman" or as a "supermodel" when the fact of the matter is there are tons of more gorgeous, more charismatic models out there who are far more deserving of the title.

I think Gisele is a very well-hyped, well-marketed product, and not a great model.
