From one runway to another: Gisele learning to fly helicopters
MARSHFIELD, Mass. -- Gisele Bundchen has gone from being a runway star to model student.
Tom Brady's wife was spotted taking flight lessons in a chopper at the Marshfield airport.
Bundchen has 20 hours to go of the 40 required for her license.
Sources told 7NEWS the soon to be mom is trying to finish a month ahead of her due date. She and Patriots quarterback Tom Brady are expecting their baby in December.
She is learning to fly in part to make treks to the couple's Costa Rica getaway easier.
Bundchen just flew the helicopter with an instructor from Marshfield to nyc this weekend where she was appointed a Goodwill Ambassador to the United Nations. She will help work to prevent climate change.
Bundchen is going green when it comes to flying a chopper as well. She is working with a company called Swift Enterprises, which is trying to develop alternative jet fuel.
