Fashion's Night Out Brazil

Gisele Bündchen arrives at Brazil in day 12 of September. 'Ailing' Esprit looks for brand makeover with 'new face' Gisele Bundchen

Fashion store Esprit has named Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen as its new face in a desperate bid to reinstate its position in the global market.

The inclusion of the Brazilian hottie in the new autumn-winter campaign is being seen as a part of a multi-pronged strategy that has been devised to lift the profile of the ailing retailer.

The past decade saw the powerhouse brand of the '80s and '90s suffering a slump.

Head of retail and wholesale for Esprit in Australia, Sophia Hwang-Judiesch, admitted that Bundchen is a figure, who embodies the elegance, charisma and naturalness the brand was trying to represent.

"She's not a girl, she's a woman with the natural Californian spirit of the Esprit brand," the Daily Telegraph quoted her as saying. (ANI)

Gisele Bundchen sends a quick text message while crossing the street on Tuesday (August 31) in Boston, Mass.
The 31-year-old model was on her way to the gym for her morning workout.
Gisele will be the new face of Esprit’s new autumn-winter campaign, according to an Australian newspaper!
“She’s not a girl, she’s a woman with the natural Californian spirit of the Esprit brand,” said Sophia Hwang-Judiesch, head of retail for Esprit in Australia.
Earlier this month, Gisele went for a family bike ride with her husband Tom Brady and little ones Benjamin and John.
