I'm not a photographer but whatever techniques and effects photos used in the late 90's/early 2000s worked for Gisele much better.

I find that the resolution, tone AND lighting used nowadays really washes her out and makes her look... dare I say.... manly.

You'd think they know how to use the best techniques and lighting. The only flattering campaign insofar has been Versace......

For some reason Espirit, Lanvin, Pantene & Ferragamo give her face an unnecessary overdone rawness.

I think it was her super-thin eyebrows that made her look so different back then. She also sounded different. I think her voice is a bit more raspy now.
