In terms of versatility, she was allowed to show it more at the start of her career when she was a nobody - these days, when people hire her, most of the time they're paying for the superstar to turn up on set, the face, body and name that sells like few other models can.

I get the sense that she's always willing to work hard to produce whatever end result is required by the magazine or client, but most of the time, they just want something recognisably "Gisele".

Again I couldn't agree more. Whichever brand or magazine book Gisele now isn't just booking a nameless model, they are booking Gisele the superstar whose face and body can move magazines off the stands and clothes off the shelves. I guess it's one of the pros and simultaneously cons of being a supermodel recognisable to the general public.

couldn't agree more. Gisele is a package. They're hiring her for her body,face,hair,personality, interviews (haha) et al. I guess we all have different versions of versatility too. Gisele can rock a catwalk,be a covergirl,star in an ed,sell shampoo or couture w/e really.

I think this was often said about Cindy Crawford as well. She rarely changed her hair and always looked like "Cindy" for the most part.

^ Yes, when I said she wasn't versatile I meant that she just doesn't seem to change her look very much, not even for editorials. I didn't mean that she wasn't versatile in the type of work she does. She does it all.

That list is bogus... Most of the women on there arent earning that money from modeling.

i think it's meant to be their net worth after their entire career. and so i say, yeah -- entirely bogus. as if Cindy Crawford has only earned that much. she earned millions just for her Pepsi commercials 20 years ago! haha. and take into consideration her skincare line and clothing endorsements and her home decor stuff. it's absurd.

also - where is Alessandra Ambrosio? she has earned millions of dollars per year from VS for the past, what? 8 years?? that adds up to a lot.

And KK?! one of the highest earning models since 2001. she definitely earns at least 2 million per year which would put her in that list.

either way - we all know Gisele has made the most. and it's because she's made the best decisions and worked her *** off. she deserves her success.

i think gisele's income is undervalued, she has been earning over 10million per year since 2001,and that makes her total income pass the line of 100million. they can't her billion model for no reason! i think she least has over 150million now.
