Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen spends a night on the town and attends a fashion show during Sao Paulo Fashion Week in Sao Paulo, Brazil on Monday night.
Last weekend, Gisele, 28, worked the runways for the Brazilian line, Colcci, and showed off her signature poses.
Ms. Bundchen will soon become a football wife, as her engagement to New England Patriot quarterback, Tom Brady, was confirmed earlier in the month.

Exactly at the settled time, Gisele opened the doors of her luxurious room in Hotel Emiliano, in São Paulo, where she was accommodated, to receive magazine Caras for an exclusive interview.
Very natural, barefoot and feeling comfortable, Gisele is the image of the passionate and happy woman. The übermodel denies the rumors about her engagement with the American football player Tom Brady, with who she’s been for 2 years, but she confirms her love and her plans to get married and have kids.
With her legs crossed like a girl, as she sometimes defines herself, and with a contagious mood, the model speaks continuously, emending one topic with other and telling, in 15 minutes, a little bit about her personal and professional life.
Always praised for her brightness on the runway, she got excited describing her emotions. “I always feel a lot of energy, even walking on runways for 14 years. I’m a very sensitive person. I have butterflies in my stomach and it doesn’t go away. In the backstage there’s already that good atmosphere, then I seat, breath and calm down before going to the runway. Everything is very fast, but the feeling is amazing”, she tells, excited, hours before rocking at Colcci show, in the first day of São Paulo Fashion Week.
After work, the top model went to a party – with the outfit she wore in her last entrance – especially for her, at 3x4 restaurant. She met again her ex-boyfriend Rico Mansur, one of the partners of the restaurant, danced, talked a lot and laughed, showing that from the six-month relationship still remains a special affection.
Enjoyed by Luana Piovani who also dated Rico, and by the owner of the brand [Colcci], Alexandre Menegotti, and his wife Sandra, she enjoyed the party until 2 a.m, when she left the place by the back door, right to the hotel.
This is the 26th edition of São Paulo Fashion Week. How many times you’ve been to the event?
SPFW has already done a lot of things. It already changed its name sometimes, I don’t know how many times exactly. I started modeling in 1995, and since then I participate in it, taking off the years I did in Rio. I know I did the first! I walked to everybody, it was in the beginning, so I did all the shows, like in abroad, when I used to do one hundred of shows for season. Can you imagine how much I worked in that time?
When you started, you’re 15 years old and you already lived in a very fast rhythm. It wasn’t hard, for being so young, and work so much?
There’s a part of my life, from 16 to 20 years old, where I don’t have too many memories, except the ones of the plane, the bags and the works. But I think I was so young that I didn’t understand very well what was going on.
And that didn’t serve as incentive?
I left my home very early, and I didn’t want to come back with nothing on my hands. I wanted my parents to be proud of me and my sisters to think it was cool to see that I fought for what I wanted and I won, I wanted to do my best. I didn’t measure my efforts, it was the right time to do that.
It didn’t have any moment when you think about taking a break?
I did that! There was a time, when I was 21, that I said, ‘I’m exhausted!’. I realized I wasn’t taking care of me. I didn’t have a time for myself, it was just work. I didn’t even feel like a human being, it looked like a train that put in fifth gear and left! (she laughs). I got sick for three months, with a pneumonia that didn’t heal, then I took a break! I went to Africa with my parents, then I came to Brazil to stay with my sisters, I spent the Carnival in Salvador, things that I had never done before. I didn’t work for six months, it was great.
Is there any work as a model you still want to do?
I think I’ve already done all the campaigns I’d like to, more than once. But it’s very exciting to do again. It’s another moment, another mind, another vision of work.
From your three entrances in the show today, is there any look you chose as your favorite?
I liked a lot of everything. But, particularly, I love Colcci denim trousers. They lift my butt up, it gets great! I also love the corsets, that tighten my waist and my boobs, and they let the body curvy. I like this kind of clothes that make shapes get more round.
Moving from work to heart, do you confirm your engagement with Tom Brandy?
No! I don’t know how people are so creative. First they said he purposed me in a plane. Imagine, it was 24th December, Christmas, we were flying to Boston, then there was some champagne and we celebrated the date. Ready! Someone deduced I was getting engaged! I received more than 100 e-mails from friends commenting about the proposal. Now there’s a new rumor, that he purposed me on last Friday. I wasn’t even there, how can that be true?
When that day comes, the ceremony will be here in Brazil? It was already cogitated Costa Rica as the place chosen by you for the party.
This talk of Costa Rica must be for the fact I have a house there. I don’t know yet if it’s going to be here or in another country, but what I know is that it’s going to be something small, a simple ceremony. I don’t like parties, I prefer something more intimate, just for the closest people.
When you’re going to present our country to Tom Brady?
Soon! He got hurt, now he’s doing physiotherapy. I wanted him to come with me, but the doctor didn’t allow. As soon as he gets the discharge from the hospital, I want to bring him here immediately
Besides Horizontina, your hometown, in Rio Grande do Sul, what is going to be the itinerary with him?
I don’t know yet what we’re going to do. I’ll ask him what he wants to know and then I’ll take him.
Do you have plans to live in Brazil again?
At the moment, my life is in United States. My boyfriend lives there, plays there and has a contract with the New Englands Patriots team. The home is where your heart is, if mine is there, I have to stay. I think for ten years still. Then…I don’t know what’s going to happen in my life, but I would love to come back and to raise my kids in Brazil, someday.
